Maria S. Quesada, age 84, of Bernalillo, New Mexico, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024, in Bernalillo, New Mexico. She was born on March 25, 1939. Maria will be remembered as a loving and caring individual who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Maria is survived by her niece, Yvette Carrasco from California; her two daughters, Monique  Taraddei (Paul)  from Placitas, NM and Melissa Quesada(Annette) from Fargo, ND; her four sons, Michael Quesada (Andrea) Santa Rosa, NM, Arturo Quesada of NM,  Jesus Flores Jr. of Albuquerque, and Ryan Quintana (Joe) of Bernalillo. She was also a cherished grandmother to Michelle, Marissa, Desirae, Brittney, Brandon, Dominique Nikki, Samantha, James, Angelo, Olivia, and Emilio. Maria leaves behind eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Benito and Antonia, and by her sisters, Veronica and Lou.

Maria dedicated over 30 years of her life to working at Mountain Bell. Her commitment and dedication to her career were exemplary.

Our Lady of Sorrows in Bernalillo, New Mexico, was the place where Maria worshipped. She found solace and strength in her faith. In her free time, Maria enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, going to the casino and cheering on the New Mexico Lobos. These were activities that brought her joy and allowed her to create lasting memories with her loved ones.

A Spanish Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at 6:00 pm in the Chapel of Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th ST. NW. in Albuquerque, New Mexico. An English Rosary will be recited on Wednesday January  31st 2024 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo, NM followed by Celebration of the Mass at 10:30 am. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery in Bernalillo, New Mexico.

Pallbearers will be Jesus Flores Jr., Ryan Quintana, Angelo Taraddei, Emilo Flores, Paul Taraddei  and Brandon Caldwell. Honorary pallbearers will be  Arturo Quesada, Omar Flores, Kevin Gallegos and Kevin Lordemann.

Maria S. Quesada will always be remembered and treasured for her love, care and dedication to her family. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will be cherished forever.
