Maria Manuelita (Padilla) Milliman, age 97, of Albuquerque, NM was called home by the Lord on October18, 2022.  She was born January 5, 1925 in Santa Fe, New Mexico.  Affectionately known as "GG," she will be missed by everyone she ever met because she was such a loving, caring and wonderful woman.

As a young woman she played baseball and later traveled with her friends.  She met her husband of 58 years, Jim, when he was stationed at Kirtland Air Force Base.  Her career in secretarial work found her working for the Health Department, County Welfare Department, NM State Penitentiary, and the Los Alamos Housing Office.  She enjoyed bowling, working at and watching horse races and playing cards and games with family.  Above all, her family was the most important to her, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim.  She is survived by her daughter, Karen St Clair (Bryan) and her son, Jim Milliman; grandchildren, Kristin Schultz (Chris), Stephen Spiess (Indira), Amber Milliman, and Tiffani Milliman; great-grandchildren, Cassidy Schultz and Cameron Schultz; her sister, Sarah Good (Dennis), son-in-law John Spiess, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Maria will be laid to rest at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with her husband.
