With profound sadness we announce the passing of Maria D Gallegos, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to all whose lives she touched.

On April 10 ^th , 2023 she left us while sleeping peacefully in her home in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

She was in her 90 ^th year, born on January 4 ^th , 1933, in Rociada, New Mexico. She was one of five children of the late Emilio and Theresa Duran.

Maria was a devout Catholic. She was an active member in her home parish of Our Lady of Guadalupe for many years as well as other parishes in Upper and Lower Rociada, NM. Faith and Family meant the world to Maria. She enjoyed her retirement years in Rociada, NM with her husband Frank Gallegos. She loved telling stories and sharing her life experiences. Maria lived each day to the fullest. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

Maria was preceded in death by her husband, Frank B. Gallegos and their only son, Carlos B. Gallegos. Maria is survived by her two grandsons, Andrew E Gallegos, Levi P Gallegos and his wife Maria L Gallegos; four great grandchildren, Francisco, Juan Pablo, Rafael, and Isabella Gallegos and by her daughter in law, Lorie M Gallegos of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, 1860 Griegos Rd. NW 87107 on Wednesday April 26th, 2023. A Rosary will be recited at 10:30am. The Mass of Christian Burial Will be celebrated at 11:00am. There will be a lunch Reception after the Mass in the Parish Hall.

For those who would like to attend, there will be an interment on Thursday, April 27 ^th , 2023, at 12 noon in Lower Rociada, NM at Camposanto Del Santo Nino Cemetery, Co Rd A4B, Sapello, NM 87445
