Los Lunas
In Loving Memory of
Maria Emma Florez
July 29, 1935 – June 12, 2026
It is with both sadness and gratitude that we remember the life of Maria Emma Florez, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose love and faith touched us all.
Emma was a devoted wife to her husband, Fernando Florez, with whom she shared 55 beautiful years of marriage. She leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory forever, especially her children: Betty Castro, Maryann Esparza, David Florez, Lillian Anderson, and Anthony Florez. Her absence will also be deeply felt by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Let us find comfort in knowing that she is at rest peacefully, free from pain and suffering.
Emma will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her beautiful singing voice, and the joy she brought to others. She had unwavering faith and dedication to her church community. As a devoted member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, she faithfully lived and shared the teachings of the Bible throughout her life. Although declining health eventually prevented her from attending services in person, her faith remained strong, and she continued to actively practice and share God's word with those around her.
While our hearts mourn her loss, we celebrate a life filled with love, devotion, faith, and kindness. Her legacy will live on through the family she cherished, the lives she touched, and the memories that will forever remain in our hearts.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
