Maria Catharine Tucker "Cathy", was born August 7, 1936. She passed away at her home in Corrales on
Thursday, August 5, 2021.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, Ida and Marcos Gutierrez; her brother, Jim Gutierrez; her nieces, Brittany Aragon and Bernadette Garcia. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Cristy Gutierrez; nephew, Marcos Gutierrez and wife Angela; nieces, Jenna LaPaglia and husband Tom and niece Melissa Gonzales.  Cathy is also survived by her great nephews, James and Joseph Gutierrez, Michael Gonzales and great nieces, Mikaela Montoya, Adisyn LaPaglia and Evangeline Gonzales.

Cathy had many friends, many who attended day program with her at CFC in Corrales. She enjoyed music, singing, movies, crafts, and spending time outdoors. As well she liked going to the casino and wearing big earrings.

Services will be held at San Ysidro Catholic Church, 5015 Corrales Road in Corrales, on Saturday, August 21, 2021. A Rosary will be recited at 9:30 with the celebration of the funeral mass following. Interment will then take place at San Ysidro Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers are Ray Gomez, Tony Gomez, Richard Gomez, Anthony Gonzales, Clarissa Montoya and Tina Donavan.
