Manuelita Rivera "Nellie", age 95, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 22, 2024 in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

Nellie was born, April 27, 1928 in South Fork, Colorado.  She married Joe Rivera on November 25, 1946 in Del Norte, Colorado. Nellie dedicated her life to being a great wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 72 years, Joe Rivera; her parents, Telesforo and Senaida (Martinez) Vigil as well as numerous brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her two children, son, Michael (Karla) Rivera of Rio Rancho, NM, and daughter Debra (Mike) Essex of Albuquerque, NM; four grandchildren;  nine great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.

She will be laid to rest beside her loving husband in Tucumcari Memorial Cemetery with a graveside service to be held on Friday, May 17, 2024 at 10:00 am where all are welcome to attend.
