Louella E. Mora, of Ledoux, New Mexico, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, March 29, 2025.

Louella was born in Ledoux, New Mexico on June 28, 1939, to Henry Aragon and Leonires Vigil Aragon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur "Tudy" Mora, and four siblings, Desi Parham, Jacob Aragon, Marylou Dunworth and infant brother, Amos Aragon.

She is survived by her children Yolanda Cordova (Ray), Orlando Mora (Saranya), Lisa Montoya (Danny), Yvonne "Bonnie" Sanchez (Clarence), and Linda "Nina" Aragon (Aaron). Louella was a proud grandmother to 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews.

A graduate of Albuquerque High School, Louella retired from UNM Hospital after a dedicated career. She raised her family in the North Valley of Albuquerque and was a devout Christian reading her Bible faithfully every day. Her unwavering faith was the cornerstone of her life. Louella inspired all who knew her with her soft spirit and profound trust in God's Word. The deep love she held for her family was evident, and her home was a sanctuary where all were welcomed with warmth and open arms.

Louella was known by many names, each one a testament to how much she was loved: LuLu, Mama Mia, Mom, Mama, Ma, Mamacita, Our Queen, Auntie Mama, Auntie LuLu, Nanita, Bama, Nita, Grandma Nita, Grandma Oma, Mrs. Mora, and Hummingbird.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 25th at New Beginnings Church, 4770 Montgomery Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109 at 11:00 a.m., with a reception to follow. A private burial will take place at a later date.
