Lori was born in 1961 in Bethesda, Maryland. She was one of three sisters. Lori was the youngest. Her oldest sister was named Mary, and her middle sister's name was Sherrie.

Lori grew up in Hawaii and Lori was part Hawaiian. When she finished high school at the age of 18, she decided to move to Wichita Falls, Texas in 1979.

She had two children from her first marriage, twins named Darla and Greg .

Lori started working at the Wichita General Hospital 1982. I met her there when I started working there. We were married in 1984. Lori loved to read. She loved to learn different hobbies; all kinds of different hobbies. She really liked to draw and paint. In Lori's time working at the hospital, she managed to work her way up the ladder and ended up being HR office manager. When we came to Albuquerque, in 2008, she ended up working for the Presbyterian Hospital system where, again, she worked her way up the ladder and had a high level position in the claims and appeals department. Her favorite movie was Somewhere In Time. Lori loved Chinese food, was an excellent cook and everyone loved Lori. No one loved Lori more than me. We had 40 wonderful years together and I was so blessed.
