Lorenzo "Larry" Gutierrez, age 58, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, was born on December 12, 1966. He passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024, after a long battle with cancer. Larry was surrounded by his family and friends.

Larry's loving spirit is carried on by his daughter, Brandy; granddaughter, Jolene; mother, Lugi; siblings, Lorena (Dion), Lydia, Leroy and all of his nieces and nephews and many friends who loved and will miss him. Preceding him in peace are his father, Lorenzo and beloved wife, Jolene.

Larry held many titles in his life; from son, brother, husband, uncle, father, grandfather and friend to working in auto-body and paint. But his favorite role was being a father. He loved nothing more than spending time with his daughter, Brandy and granddaughter, Jolene. He was always there for them throughout their life. He loved to have barbecues, playing horseshoes and going camping. Larry had a big heart and soul. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed him. We have many fond memories of Larry and Jolene hosting many events and holidays at their house. These memories will be cherished forever.

Be at peace now Larry and we will take care of your girls for you. God Bless you.

Services will be held at St. Joseph's on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, 5901 Saint Joseph's Ave NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120, on Monday, November 4, 2024. The Rosary will be recited at 8:15am and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 am.
