Lillian Marie Saiz

Lillian Marie Saiz, 91, was our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, Godmother to many and aunt to many wonderful nieces, nephews and all of their children. She passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 26, 2026 with family at her side. She was born January 15, 1935, in Dixon New Mexico, to Juan and Constancia (Martinez) Alire. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, David Saiz; granddaughter, Veronica Saiz; brothers, Enoch, Estevan and Leroy Alire, and by her sister, Theresa Salazar.
Lillian is survived by her children, William (Elsie Duran), Wendy Saiz (Phyllis Nez), and Tim Saiz (Veronica); seven grandchildren, William Saiz (Kimberly), Paula Saiz, Jonathan Saiz, Aaron Saiz (Samantha), Luzita Saiz and Starla Saiz; five great grandchildren, Gavin and Austin Saiz, Leilani Stradford, Veronica and Malachian Simpson. She is also survived by her sisters, Shirley Martinez, Lupita Chavez, Joanne Miller (Dale), Geraldine Martinez and Darlene Naranjo; two brothers, Adonais Martinez (Faby) and Clifford Martinez (Angie), and many treasured friends from throughout her life.
Services will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church in Old Town. The Rosary will be recited at 10:30am, followed by the Eulogy, concluded by the mass being celebrated 11:00am. The burial will then take place at Mount Calvary Cemetery where she will be reunited with her late husband David. Everyone is invited to the reception Hall behind San Jose Mission Church for lunch and social gathering, 2110 Los Luceros Rd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87104.
Urn bearers will be her loving grandchildren. Honorary urn bearers will be her great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Direct Funeral and Cremation Services for their services, and San Felipe de Neri Church.
