Lillian Mendoza, age 93 and a long-time resident of Albuquerque, was called to be with our Lord on Thursday, February 22, 2024. She is survived by her loving children; daughters, Janet Schupp and her husband Tony, Evelyn Sanchez and her husband Al; sons, Larry Mendoza, Andrew Mendoza Jr. and Robert Mendoza; her six grandchildren, Christina Saunders and husband Ira, Nichole Lannen and husband Todd, Jason Schupp and wife Sarah, Joseph Dimas and wife Amy, Michelle Branch and husband Tyler, Danielle Baughman and husband Alfred. Lillian was fortunate to know her nine great grandchildren as well.

Lillian dedicated her life to the care of her husband, Andrew, their five kids, and then to her six grandchildren.  She was a member of the Legion of Mary at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. For many years, she was the caregiver to her youngest son, Robert. Lillian will be deeply missed and eternally loved by her family and friends.

A viewing will be held in the chapel of Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th Street NW., on Friday, March 8, 2024 at 6:00pm with a rosary to follow at 7:00pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday March 11, 2024 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Annunciation Church with Msgr. Bennett J. Voorhies officiating. Pallbearers will be Jason Schupp, Joseph Dimas, Todd Lannen and Alfred Baughman.

A reception will follow at the Loyal Order of Moose, 2121 Edith Blvd NE .

The interment will be private service, at a later date, with only the immediate family in attendance.
