In Loving Memory of Libby Anaya Anderson
August 25, 1932 - December 14, 2024
On December 14, 2024, Jesus welcomed our mama, Libby Anaya Anderson, home where He had a place prepared for her. She was blessed with 92 years of life on this earth and now eternity with her Savior. Libby was born to Venceslado and Emilia Martinez Anaya in Los Duranes, Albuquerque, New Mexico. After graduating from Albuquerque High School, Libby married Ross Robert Anderson jr. They were blessed with six children, Kenneth Anthony (wife Doris) Yvonne Annette Sanchez (husband August) Carolyn Ann Gonzalez (husband Arturo) Jeffrey James Anderson (Barbara) Andrew Vences Anderson Jennifer Rose Anderson (Bobby). Libby and Ross were wonderful grandparents to 21 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. Libby welcomed many in her warm, loving home in Los Duranes where she and Ross lived for 60+ years. She and her sister Eva Anaya visited every day as they lived across the street from each other. Libby and her husband Ross loved to travel. They were fortunate to visit many countries, camping and fishing included. Libby wore many hats and worked various jobs. Mom was an avid bowler for many years. Playing cards with family and friends was a favorite past time as well. Libby always remembered playing with her grandma Luz. Many friends, cousins, nieces and nephews were nourished with Libby's delicious beans, chile, and tortillas. We miss you, mama, but we will see you again. Thank you for all the love, wonderful food, and the many sacrifices you made for us. But most importantly, the solid belief in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
