Leopoldo Gutierrez III, "Lil Mico" "Meeks" age 34, born to Angela Anaya Gutierrez and Leopoldo Gutierrez Jr. (Mico), on July 28, 1990 in Albuquerque, N.M. He passed away March 8, 2025 where he resided with his parents.
He grew up in their hometown of Vaughn, New Mexico, moving to Albuquerque in 2002. He attended Vaughn elementary schools; upon moving to Albuquerque he attended TLC charter school and moved on to Rio Grande High School graduating in 2008. "Once a Raven Always a Raven."

Coming from a musical family both maternal and paternal, he loved music. Meeks enjoyed playing his bass guitar and Cajon when jamming with his Dad and Uncle Robert. He also loved recording freestyle rap with his cousin Amber and his friends/brothers from high school. He was a talented artist and creative writer.

Meek had a heart of gold. Such a wonderful, loving soul. He loved his family dearly. He loved all of his aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and of course, his dog karma. But, most importantly he loved the Lord. Waiting to greet him in heaven alongside God are his maternal grandparents- Paco and Carmen (Ara) Anaya, paternal grandparents, Leopoldo (Polo) and Emilia (Parraz) Gutierrez, niece Angelina Carmen Romero, Aunt Lora Gutierrez and Uncle Raul Quintanilla.

Meeks will forever be missed and loved by his survivors- Parents Leopoldo Gutierrez Jr. (Mico) and Angela Anaya Gutierrez; Sister Ara Lea Gutierrez (Jeremy Perea) Nephew Josiah Romero and Niece Carmen Romero; Stepdaughters Maria Gallegos (Diego Giron), Iliana Gallegos, and Karolina Gallegos; Uncles and Aunts, Robert Anaya; Patricia Anaya (Ronard Johnson); Esther Gutierrez Cordova (Joe) who are also his godparents; Nancy Gutierrez Apodaca (Luis Chavez); Kathy Gutierrez Manriquez; Linda Gutierrez Quintanilla; and Godfather Miguel Romero; many cousins and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be Jordan Anaya, Josiah Romero, Amber Anaya Griego, Joseph Cordova, Manuel Luna, Jesus Manquero, Crystal Gutierrez Sanchez and Raul Rey Quintanilla.

Honorary pallbearers will be Carmen Romero, Maria Gallegos, Iliana Gallegos, Karolina Gallegos, James Griego, Naomi Chavez Murrietta, Katrina Rael, Anjelica Recinos, Diondra Anaya Chavez, John Dow Heaton, Anyssa Cordova, Chanel Parraz, Shena Cordova and
