Obituary

Leonard Baros, age 84, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 4, 2021 with his family by his side.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Linda Baros, his beloved sons Lonnie and Victor, his sister Irene Baros, his mother Ann DeLaO, step father Juan DeLaO, and father Leonard Baros.

He is survived by his daughter Sonia Baros and partner Joe Nestor Chavez, his brother Billy Baros and wife Dolores, sisters Vivian DeLaO and Juanita Gordon and husband John and a special person who was like a son, Anthony Castillo and wife Ida. Grandchildren, Victoria Baros, Amanda Baros, Timothy Dow, Dominic Dow, Jonathan Dow, Angelique Baros, Antoinette Baros, Anthony Baros and Victor Baros.  Great grandchildren Elena Blea, Anthony Dow, Elizaria Dow, Selena Baros, Raquel Baros and Isabella Baros.  Numerous nieces and nephews.

He served in the United States Air Force as a Master Sergeant for 40 years which included deployment to South Korea in support of the New Mexico Air National Guard Combat Missions into Vietnam during the Vietnam War. After his return from deployment, he worked full time as an Air National Guardsmen at Kirtland Air Force Base in the Transportation Management Office in logistics for 30 years. He went on to own and operate the Club National Key Club for nearly 20 years.  He managed and operated the Horn Oil Stations back in the 70's.

He was a humble, kind and caring person.  He was a wonderful father, grandfather and husband. He will be dearly missed.

He was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. His hobbies included making turquoise jewelry and woodworking and had a love for making  and playing guitars with the love of music.

His pallbearer will be his special nephew, Danny Cordova.

Saturday, November 20, 2021, at 9:30 am
