Leandro Martinez, age 89, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at his home in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was born March 31, 1932 in Cimarron, New Mexico to Florencio and Rosanna Martinez.

Leandro is survived by his wife, Bridget Brink; his children,  Norman Martinez (Bernice), Leigh Rose Griego (Tom), Leandro Martinez Jr, Cecilia Martinez, Harry Martinez and
Sandra Brink; 22 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; as well as many other family members and friends who loved and will miss him.

The services will be held at Holy Spirit Cathedral, 1001 Barelas Rd SW in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on Monday, July 26, 2021.  A viewing, rosary, and Mass will begin at 11:00 am. Leandro will be laid to rest at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd. NW. with US Navy Honors. Honorary Pallbearers are his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Leandro's celebration of life will then follow at the Fraternal Order of Police, 4120 Cutler Ave. NE.
