Laura Dennell Ramirez 43, passed away in her childhood home, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, May 1, 2022. She was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on September 22, 1978 to Darrell and Rita Eberting. She spent her childhood in Albuquerque with her siblings, Andrea and David. In school, she made lifelong friendships with her cheerleading and softball teams. Laura became a devoted young mother to her children, John and James, and was married to Freddy Ramirez. She worked as an insurance agent before attending nursing school at Carrington College. As a medical-surgical nurse at Lovelace Hospital in Albuquerque for the past five years, Laura's passion to help others shined. She was truly selfless, kind, compassionate, accepting, and loving to everyone she encountered. She loved camping, fishing, and making her family and friends smile. Laura enjoyed assisting and competing with her brother in the Special Olympics competition. She was also a loyal dog mother to Arlo, Millie, and Nina.
Laura is survived by her husband Freddy Ramirez; two sons, John Eberting, James Eberting and wife Janet; parents Darrell and Rita Eberting; siblings Andrea Rico and David Eberting; Grandmother Jaunell Eberting, Godmother Gloria Montoya; Godson Jaden Soto; Goddaughter Victoria Dean; as well as her nephews, Daniel and Patrick Dean. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Denzil Eberting, Macario and Sinforosa Montoya, Godfather Givi Montoya, and Godson Cipriano Ramirez.
Services will be held at San Martin de Porres Church in Albuquerque on May 9, 2022, Rosary at 10:30 am and Mass at 11:00 am. The pallbearers will be John and James Eberting, Daniel and Patrick Dean, Jaden Soto, and Jonathan Garcia.
"May the winds of heaven blow softly in your ear, how much we love you, and wish you were here." Laura was so very loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
