Larry Gabaldon was born January 21, 1951 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. A lifelong resident of Albuquerque, he passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.

Larry was a construction worker and a stone mason. He loved to fish and go to the casino, watch football, as he was a Raiders Fan, and enjoyed all kinds of sports. He will be remembered for always making everyone laugh.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Jackie; his brothers, Chris, Ralph Jr; his sister, Elaine; his son, Jacob and by his granddaughter, Larissa.

Larry is survived by his daughter, Laura Gabaldon and husband Mike; brother, Alex Gabaldon; three sisters, Gloria Saiz, Angie Gabaldon and Elizabeth Romero; five grandchildren, Damon and Kyndall Altamirano, Larrisa, Vicente, Micky Gutierrez Jr. and Jaycob; 1 great grandchild Kimsley Alatamirano; special niece, Denise Cabrera; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends who loved and will miss him.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 9:00 am at St. Therese Catholic Church.  Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
