Kyree Wayne Stafford, 23 passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 24, 2024.  His loss is completely unexpected and his family is profoundly saddened.

Kyree loved skateboarding. He played basketball and football for La Cueva High School going on to graduate from Albuquerque Charter.  Kyree was a beacon of light in the lives of those he touched. He was a beautiful person inside and out.  His smile would light up a whole room.  Kyree's personality was filled with sensitivity and compassion. Kyree's legacy of kindness and passionate spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.  He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Kyree was preceded in death by his grandfather, Sherman Stafford and by his grandmother, Leola Stafford.

He is survived by his mother, Carla Sandoval; step father, Leo Sandoval;  father, Kenneth Stafford; sisters, Sabrina Lackey and Kyndra Stafford; brothers, Malcolm Lackey and Terrell Stafford; nephews, Amari, Liam, and Iman; aunts, Mary Woods, Shannon Bouldin, Donna Stafford, JoAnn Stafford-Chaney and Florence Alexander; uncle, Malcolm Stafford and a host of cousins and friends.

A private family viewing and celebration will be held on Friday March 29, 2024.
