On Wednesday, December 8, 2021, Kathy Barreras-Madrill of Albuquerque, New Mexico went home to be with the Lord at the age of 66.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend.  Kathy was a part of so many lives and made so many memories for us to remember her by.  She was the librarian for her church, she loved arts and crafts shows and crocheting.  She loved road trips and finding new places not to mention she spoiled her grandchildren.
She is survived by daughters;  Shawnase Rambes and Angel Barreras, grandsons Sebastian Lee and Oliver Duran and mother Joan Teran,  along with sisters and brothers Diana Barreras, Michael Barreras, Richard Trujillo, Alice Chavez and Patricia Chavez.
There will be a memorial service on December 29, 2021 at First Bilingual Baptist Church at 812 Fruit Ave NW in Albuquerque at 10:00 am and she will be laid to rest with her late husband Mike B. Madrill at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in January.
