Justen Dominic Martinez, "JD".  JD Martinez, age 52, a resident of Espanola, and formerly of Albuquerque, was born June 23, 1971. He passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023.

JD is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Juanito and Celestina Maes; uncles, Tommy and Adolfo Maes; aunt, Margaret Alvarez.

JD is survived by his mother, Tutsee Gabilondo; sons, Delano Zatara and Jason Martinez; brothers, Ivan Martinez (Stella), Vernon Martinez (Kayla), Anthony Martinez and Shawn Gabilondo; aunts, Gloria Maes, Priscilla Valdez (Abel), Eva Cordova (Nelson), Evelyn Maes, Marie Maes, Mary Lou Valerio (Tony), Virginia Jaramillo (Archie), Rosemary Boyet (Joe), Barbie Megariz (Michael), Melanie Suazo (Kenneth); uncles, Fernando Lopez (Dorothy), Fermin Maes, Juanito Maes (Antoinette), Joseph (Lupe).. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, many cousins; as well as other family members and friends who loved and will miss him.

A gathering and reception will be held at The Moose Lodge, 2121 Edith Blvd. NE. ABQ, NM 87102 on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 1:00 pm.
