Josephine "Fina" Herrera

July 12, 1921 - April 5, 2024

It is with heavy and loving hearts that we say our beloved mother has made her final journey home. She passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024, and is reunited with our dad, Gregg.

Fina was preceded in death by her parents and all of her brothers and sisters.  The family is now all together again. She was the last one to join them.

Fina will be truly missed along with all of her delicious cooking and baking.  Her smile and laughter would light up a room.

She is survived by her daughters, Doris and Dottie along with her nephews, nieces and friends.

We are left to wonder if all the stars in heaven are porch lights waiting for the owners to come home.

We know now that our MOM is home and at peace.

Services will be held at Risen Savior Catholic Church,7701 Wyoming Blvd. N.E. Albuquerque, NM 87109. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at 9:30 am. The Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. Albuquerque, New Mexico.
