Jose Federico Juan Tapia

February 16, 1989 - November 15, 2025

Jose Federico Juan Tapia was born February 16, 1989. A lifelong resident of Albuquerque, he passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.

He will forever be remembered as a loving son, brother, husband, father, nephew, godson, grandson and friend.

Jose was a kindhearted man who was so respectful to everyone he met. He was full of life, always making people laugh and always dancing. He enjoyed fishing and sports but always loved watching his children play their sports. As well, he was an avid Raiders and Yankees fan, but most of all he loved spending time with his treasured family.

Jose was preceded in death by his father, Jose Tapia "Fred" and by his sister, Melanie Tapia. He is lovingly survived by his wife, Monique Tapia; daughter, Aurelia Tapia; sons, Jose Tapia, Xavier Tapia and Josiah Tapia; mother, Elizabeth Molinas; brothers, Chris Tapia and Jojo Quintana; sisters, Jennifer Debord and Nicole Molinas; mother and father in-law, Yolanda and Ronnie Martinez; god parents, John Aragon and Beth Tapia-Aragon; brothers in law, Steven and Joseph Martinez; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and friends who loved and will miss him greatly.

*UPDATE- Services will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Community, 1001 Barelas Rd. SW. ABQ., NM. 87102, on Saturday, December 6, 2025. The visitation will begin at 9:30 am. The Rosary will be recited at 10:00 am with the Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 10:30 am. The interment will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery, 2957 Arenal Rd. SW.., ABQ., NM.

Pallbearers will be John Aragon, Jose Vargas, Adam Cardenas, Louie Padilla, Chris Tapia, Jose Tapia, Leonardo Gonzales, Adriana Cavalier and Steven Martinez.
