Jose (Fred) Gonzales was 76 years old. He was born on July 6 , 1944 and took his last  breath on March 24, 2021.  Fred was born in La Loma de Santa Rosa, New Mexico to Vivian and Reynaldo Gonzales.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Silverio and Raymond Gonzales.

He was born one of seven children. He is survived by four sisters Grace Garcia, Susie Regalado  and her husband Mark Regalado, Theresa Gallegos and Rose Gonzales; his daughter Bernadette Acosta, her husband Ernesto Acosta and their four daughters Bryanna, Bryzamar, Rebecca and Bella; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and even great-great nieces and nephews.

Fred served in the Army from 1963 to 1966, he also served in the National Guard for many years. He worked many hard years for Albuquerque Public Schools, and even retired from APS. Fred was also a proud commander of The American Legion Post 72. May he rest in peace.
