Johnny Joe Baca, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at the age of 56.

Johnny was preceded in death by his father and mother, John and Josie Baca and by his brothers, Leonard and Steve Baca.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Geraldine; four children, Anthony, Crystal and husband Jorge, Dominic and wife Crystal, John and fiancé Nicole, Elijah his grandson who he raised; 13 grandchildren, Geneva, Savannah, Lennox, Gabriel, Giovani, Hailie, Logan, Alicia, Joaquin, Enrique, Alyssa, Alexis and Alejandro; one great granddaughter, Angelina; brothers, Jody and Barney; as well as many other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. Johnny's 30+ years of experience roofing, hard work and dedication led him to start his own business, Baca & Sons Roofing for him and his family to persevere which allowed him to be dedicated to his family. Through his hard work he created friendships and business partners,  which many of those became lifelong friendships. When our dad wasn't working he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing and enjoying a cold corona on his porch overlooking the city. You could always count on getting a phone call when his Falcons were playing the Cowboys, to bet on the game or a boxing fight; blasting the radio on a Saturday morning to the rancheras on 89.1. Our dad will be missed by many but never forgotten!

Cremation has taken place with private gathering to be held at a later date.
