John "Sauder" Torres a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at the age of 73.  He was born on October 18, 1950 to Juan Jose Torres and Vera Ponce.  He went to Valley High School and attended the Job Corp where he began his 40 year career in glass glazing.  On January 31, 1970 he married Sinferosa Torres also of Albuquerque, NM.

John loved driving throughout the North Valley and taking care of his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He enjoyed watching WWE wrestling, drinking cold beers, dancing and always offering help to those in need.

He was preceded in death by his wife Sinferosa Torres; grandson J. T. Torres; parents Juan and Vera Torres; and sister Theresa Miranda.

He is survived by his children John Ely Torres and wife Jessica, Lawrence Torres and wife Liz, David Torres, Roseanne Sierra and husband Joey and Randy Torres; sister Alice Garcia and husband Clemente Garcia; and brother Robert Torres and wife Lisa; grandchildren Jesse Vigil, Samantha Torrez and husband Vincent, Dominic Ely Torres, Isaiah Torres, Bryssa Torres, Terra Sierra, D. J. Torres, Estevan Sierra and Noah Torres; great grandchildren Jordan Torrez and Savannah Torrez; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception all at Church of the Incarnation, 2309 Monterrey Rd. NE, Rio Rancho, NM 87144.
