John Gene Lopez was born on January 7, 1968, to Johnny and Esther Lopez and was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM.  John passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at the age of 54. John was a hard-working single father of three children.  He worked as a marble fabricator for over 30 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents Jonny and Esther Lopez.

John is survived by his children Lea Guillen, Rachel Lopez and Matthew Lopez; and five grandchildren Julianna Lopez, Josalynn Guillen, Jordyn Guillen, Donavon Guillen and Josiah Rael; his son-in-law Alex Guillen; as well as three brothers; and many family and friends.

John will be Remembered for his smile that would light up a room and his silly humorous personality he loved to joke and laugh John will also be remembered for how much he cared and selflessly helped others.

Visitations will be at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church Friday, April 29, 2022, from 9:00 am to 9:30 am followed by communion service at 9:30 am.
