Joanne Hageman, 73, of Albuquerque, New Mexico was called home to heaven on Sunday, May 15, 2022.

Joanne was born on May 4, 1949, in San Francisco, California to Fred and Esther Lehman. Joanne graduated from Westmoor High School in 1967 in Daly City, California.

Joanne went on to marry Ronald Hageman in January of 1974 and had two daughters Alisa and Trisha.

Joanne was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Esther and by her husband, Ronald.

She is survived by her daughters, Alisa and husband Steele Trauba, Trisha; her grandchildren, Derek Chavez, Caitlin Cardinal and Christopher Cardinal; her great-grandson, Arius Chavez; Michelle Bernier, who was like a daughter to Joanne;  her lifelong friend, Ann Anderson, close cousins, extended family, and many dear friends who loved and will miss her greatly.

Joanne strongly loved her family and was a loyal friend. She had a unique sense of humor and always had a sassy demeanor. She was a classic movie buff and loved all things old Hollywood. Joanne also loved music, especially the 50's, 60's, and 70's genres. She loved playing card games with her friends. Joanne truly valued her many life-long friendships and keeping up with those connections. If anyone needed advice or a safe place to turn she was always there with words of comfort and encouragement. Joanne was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

Services will be held on Saturday, June 4th, 2022 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St NW, Albuquerque New Mexico 87107. A Potluck Reception will follow at the home of Derek Chavez and Kelsey Sena.
