JoAnn E Garcia was born July 4,1967 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at UNM Hospital, at the age of 53.

She will be remembered as a homemaker who loved New Mexican music, sitting outside and spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Libby Jo Garcia and by her brother, Leroy Garcia.

JoAnn is survived by her mother, Olivia Garcia; son, Jose Garcia and spouse Joanna Santana; daughter, Maria Munoz and spouse Manuel Lara; daughter, Yolanda Munoz and spouse Steven Gonzales; son, Luis Munoz Jr; son, Arsenio Sanchez;  sister, Henrietta Maestas and spouse Richard Maestas; brother, Michael Garcia; sister, Elena Garcia; sister, Martha Gonzales; ten grandchildren; as well as many other family members and friends who loved and will miss her.

Services will be at San Martin Catholic Church on Monday, February 15, 2021 at 10:30 AM. Seating is limited. If you were not notified you are able to sit in your vehicle to listen to the mass in the church parking lot. Due to current COVID restrictions we will not be having a reception.
