Jesus "Jesse" Juan Segura, 78 of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed from this life into eternal life on Friday, August 27, 2021, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 15, 1943, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

He honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force in the 1960s. Jesse graduated from the University of Albuquerque in 1976. He retired from the State of New Mexico and went on to work as an educational assistant at Dolores Gonzales Elementary School.
His life was filled with so much love and laughter in his position as an Educational Assistant. He was known as Mr. Segura, a second father, grandfather, and dear friend to the community. Jesse had a love for music and enjoyed singing. His spare time was filled with fishing, running, playing tennis, horseshoes, and beating everybody at cornhole. Jesse loved to be around his family playing poker, sharing jokes and laughing.

He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret; his children, LaReen, Marla and husband Steven, and Stephanie; grandchildren, Ashley, AJ, Emiliano, Marco, Amara, CJ, Mya, Ava, and Gigi; as well as other family members and many friends who loved and will miss him.

Services will be held at our Lady of Fatima Church, 4020 Lomas Blvd NE 87110 on Saturday, September 4, 2021. A rosary will be recited at 9:30 am with a celebration of a funeral mass at 10:00 am. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
