Jerry Christopher Campos, known affectionately as Chris, passed away on August 5, 2023, at the age of 63, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Born on November 28, 1959, in Albuquerque, Chris was a beloved father, grandfather, and brother. He brought light into the lives of those around him with his charisma and humor, and his affection towards his loved ones will never be forgotten.

Chris is survived by his children, Macrina, Teena, Chanel, Jazelle, Tammi, and Michael, as well as his grandchildren, Lya, Jacob, Flower, Jeremiah, Kayden, Nadia, Eliana, and Kensley. He is also survived by his siblings, Anthony, Andre, Mara, and David. Chris was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry Gilbert and Sabrina Campos, and his brother, Daniel.

Chris attended St. Mary's Catholic School for his high school education. In his free time, he enjoyed going to the casino, spending quality time with his family, and exploring new culinary experiences.

A rosary will be held in Chris's honor on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at 9:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, located at 619 Copper Ave, NW with the Mass to follow at 9:30 AM. Following the Mass, Chris will be laid to rest at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, located at 1900 Edith Blvd. NE, 87102 at 11:00 AM.

Chris's departure has left a void in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love and joy he shared with his family and friends.
