Jenny Ann
Warner
Mar 30, 1954 — Jul 28, 2026
Rio Rancho
Jenny Ann Warner, age 72, of Rio Rancho New Mexico, passed away at home surrounded by family on July 28, 2026. Born on March 30, 1954 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to William and Helene Blankenburg and younger sister to Else Couzin.
Her father served in the United States Army, and when he retired the family came back to Albuquerque, NM. Jenny attended the University of New Mexico and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. It was in her first semester that she met her husband of 48 years, James Warner. They were married September 16, 1978 in the Church of Christ, and soon moved to Rio Rancho where she spent the rest of her life.
Jenny worked for Albertsons for most of her career until she retired in 2019. She was known for her kindness and her caring personality. With her free time, she loved to read, cook, sew, craft, and garden with her husband. Over the years they developed a home known for native plants that provided a bountiful environment for local wildlife. She most loved watching the hummingbirds and roadrunners. The mountains of New Mexico were her favorite place to spend time with family.
Her passing leaves a tremendous void in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her. She is survived by her husband James, and her two children Benjamin Warner, and Carolyn Warner who were her pride and joy.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone for the love, prayers, and continued support shown during this difficult time. None of it has gone unnoticed, and all of it has been deeply appreciated.
