Obituary

Jennie Grace Mascareno was born September 1, 1935 in Lemitar, New Mexico. She passed away Monday, May 17, 2021 in Albuquerque surrounded by her loving family.

Our beloved mom loved to go to the casino and spend time with her treasured family.

Jennie was always concerned about the well-being of her children, and loved them all the same no matter how old they were or what road they chose in life. She was always there in time of need especially for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She has given her family the greatest gifts a mother can give, her unconditional love, support, understanding and strength. She was always there when we needed her for advice, support, encouragement or just a shoulder to cry on. Her smile and laughter were infectious and could always brighten up your day. She is and always will be the rock, heart and soul of our family. We thank the Lord for Blessing us with the best mother any child could ask for! Mom, you are truly our Hero and the Wind Beneath Our Wings! Forever loved, missed and never forgotten! God Bless the most beautiful angel in the heavens, our mother, Jennie Mascareno!

She was preceded in death by her sons, Manuel Mascareno, Leroy Mascareno, John Boy Mascareno and Baby Boy Mascareno; by her father, Ambrosio Saiz and by her mother, Epifanía Saiz.

Jennie had thirteen children just like her mother, Epifanía.  She is survived by her children, Jesse Jr. Mascareno, Rose Marie Mascareno, John Ray Mascareno, Ramona Boggs, Janie Mascareno, Randy Mascareno, Cindy Mascareno, Margaret (Denise) Mascareno and Errol Mascareno; grandchildren, Marie Esperanza Mascareno, Leroy Mascareno, John Mascareno and great grandchild, Anthony Mascareno who all grew up in the household in which she helped to raise and love them as one of her own. As well, Jennie is survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; other family members and friends who loved and will miss her.

Private family services will take place.
