Obituary

Jeannie Karen Baca, born on May 19, 1958, went home to be with our Holy Father on the afternoon of Friday, June 18, 2021. Jeannie was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, niece, and friend who above all enjoyed watching her children raise their families.

She is remembered as a silly, fun loving woman who loved helping others less fortunate than herself. Jeannie had a pure heart of gold, a friend to all, and the gift of forgiveness. Jeannie enjoyed singing, dancing, making jewelry, collecting antiques, going to yard sales, she enjoyed gardening, playing games on her computer, she greatly enjoyed going to the casino with her Aunt Dianna, and above of all, she loved to spoil her grandchildren.

Jeannie is survived by and will be immensely missed by her high school sweetheart and husband, Larry Baca Sr.; son, Larry Baca Jr; daughter, Angela Baca; grandchildren, Larissa J Baca, Alyssa M Baca, and Lyla M Baca and god son's, Antonio Trujillo and Joseph Sena; brother, Sefredo Trujillo; sisters, Marian Franco and Emma Chavez, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved and will miss her greatly.

Jeannie prayed everyday for her loved ones to always care for each other, to show unconditional love for one another, and to be forgiving and understanding of each other regardless of differences. Let us honor her legacy. Jeannie will forever live in our hearts.

Her Journey's Just Begun

Don't think of her as gone away

Her journey's has just begun.

Life holds so many facets,

This earth is only one.

Just think of her as resting

From the sorrows and the tears

In a place of warmth and comfort

Where there are no day and no years.

Think how she must be wishing

That we can know today

How nothing but our sadness

Can really pass away.

Think of her as living

In the hearts of those she touched.

For nothing loved is ever lost

And she was loved so much.
