In Loving Memory of
Jayden Rae Garcia
May 17, 2004 – June 6, 2024
20 years of holding you was not long enough. We could've held you for another 20, and that still wouldn't have been long enough.
On Thursday, June 6, 2024, our beloved daughter, granddaughter, niece, sister, cousin and friend, Jayden Rae Garcia, left her earth side body and joined the angels to watch over all of us. Upon her final arrival, she was greeted with loving arms by her Papa Jimmy Trujillo; Bama Placida Gurule; great grandma and grandpa Garcia, Dolores and Ruben Sr.; great-grandpa Hernandez, Jesus, and all the tail wags and kisses from her four-legged companion's, Chloe and Smokey. Jayden's memory will live on by her loving mother, Cordilia Trujillo; Nana, Debbie Trujillo; uncle, Jaime Trujillo; father, Ruben Garcia III, and family; grandma and grandpa Garcia, Blanca and Ruben Jr.; as well as numerous other family members, cousins, friends, and most importantly, her dog Django.
If you knew Jayden, you knew Love. Jayden embodied love, above all other emotions. She loved love, she loved to be loved and she loved to show love. She loved her dogs, her people, her collection of dragon stuff and pretty rocks. She loved to dance, go on adventures for Boba or Chai, climb on roofs to watch the sunset, and pet every animal that crossed her path. She never failed to give a stranger a genuine compliment, lovingly hug someone whenever they needed it, or watch How to Train Your Dragon for the 175th time! Her hair was always as colorful and as vibrant as her spirit and her taste in music was diverse and eclectic.
Jayden made friends wherever she went. She had a collection of friends all over the world. Some she met in person, and some she had plans to meet. Though her time with us was brief, the memories and love she shared will forever hold a special place in the hearts of everyone she encountered. The impact she had on everyone who came into her life, is immeasurable.
We celebrate a bright light who left a trail of sunshine in many hearts. Let us honor Jayden's life by carrying forward her spirit of kindness, compassion and love. Let us laugh deep belly laughs, dance freely and fearlessly, and never fail to tell someone how much we love them.
Dance in the sky, sweet angel. Watch over all of us. Continue to teach us how to love passionately and unconditionally. May your spirit serenade our souls and continue to bring warmth to our hearts.
On Monday, August 5, 2024, we will be celebrating Jayden's life from 5-8PM at La Fonda Del Bosque,1701 4th St SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102.
