Jasmine Faith Duffney

Jasmine Faith Duffney of Los Lunas, New Mexico, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 25, 2025 at the age of 29.

Jasmine was born June 16, 1996 in Albuquerque, NM. She gave her heart to Christ at a young age. Her God-given talent was singing and ministering to others. She sang with the worship team at Abundant Life Christian Center starting at an early age. Jasmine loved playing basketball and volleyball, while she excelled in both she loved laughing with her teammates more than playing the games. She was a lover of all animals— she had a soft heart for abandoned dogs, many times bringing them home.

Jasmine is survived by her daughter and greatest joy in life, Aspen Baca; her loving parents, Patrick and Michele Duffney; her loyal brothers, Trent, Brett, and Kris;  her compassionate sister, Destiny and her caring boyfriend, James Baca.

Jasmine is preceded in death by her grandparents, Darrell and Julia Paulsen of Los Lunas, NM; Leo and Florence Duffney of St. Paul, MN and by her Uncle, Wayne Paulsen of Chino Hills, CA.

Jasmine's laugh, quick wit, sarcasm and love will be missed everyday. Her loss leaves a hole in our hearts, but we rejoice knowing that she is laughing with Grandma and the rest of the family in heaven.

The Duffney family is unbelievably grateful for your thoughts, prayers, love and support in this devastating time.

A celebration of her life will be held at Abundant Life Christian Center (105 Avenida Del Fuego, Rio Communities, NM 87002) on Saturday September 6, 2025 at 2:00 pm.
