In Loving Memory of
Jacob Allan Braig
April 11, 1991 – June 29, 2026
Jacob Allan Braig, age 35, of New Mexico, passed away on June 29, 2026.
Born in Gillette, Wyoming, Jacob primarily lived in Farmington and Los Lunas, New Mexico. A proud patriot, he served in the U.S. Army as an 11C Infantryman and deployed to Iraq from 2009 to 2010. He carried deep pride in his military service throughout his life.
Jacob is survived by his mother, Leslie Kim LeBlanc; his father, Lance Allan Braig; his brothers, Timmothy LeBlanc, Matthew LeBlanc, and Jose Cruz; and many loving friends and extended family members.
He was a man of action and generosity beyond measure—quick to step forward when others hesitated or panicked. Despite fighting a long and difficult battle with PTSD, chronic back pain, and TBI, Jacob remained devoted to supporting his family and those he cared about until the very end.
He will be greatly missed and remembered for his courage, selflessness, and big heart.
A service to celebrate Jacob's life will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Calvary Chapel, 19381 NM-314, Belen, New Mexico.
