Irene Molina died on Monday, February 12, 2024, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, surrounded by all of her loved ones.

Irene was born July 12, 1954 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Helen Lopez and Benny Lopez.

She met the love of her life Manuel Molina in 1975. She lived her life to the fullest opening her home to friends and family. You could always count on a hot meal at Irene's and she never turned anyone away. She was known as the life of the party and was always keeping everyone entertained with her singing. Irene was known to crochet blankets, clothes, headbands for any new baby entering into the family. She made anything out of nothing.

Irene was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Lopez; by her father Benny Lopez; sister, Anna Rios and by her nephew, Santana Rios.

She is lovingly survived by her loving husband, Manuel Molina; brother, Benny Lopez and wife AnnaMarie Lopez; sister, Rita Lopez and partner Jacob Romero; children, Magdalena Archuleta husband Anthony Archuleta, Monica Molina, Suline Mendoza husband Frank Mendoza, Felicia Lopez-Molina and husband Felipe Lopez and by her son Jonathan Molina. She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and countless nephews and nieces; as well as other family members and friends who loved and will miss her greatly.

Memorial Services will take place for Irene on Friday, February 23, 2024 at 9:00am at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church 820 Broadway BLVD SE, Albuquerque, NM 87102.
