Helen J. Martinez

1949 - 2026 

Helen J. Martinez, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, was born on December 14, 1949, and passed away peacefully on August 13, 2026. 

Helen cherished the time she spent socializing with her family and friends. She had a love for music and dancing and brought warmth and joy to those around her. She will be remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. 

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Alfonso Casaus and Genoveva Casaus; her sisters, Maria Oldham and Geraldine Roybal; her brothers, Henry “Sonny” Casaus and Leroy Casaus; and her son, Frederick Martinez. 

She is survived by her son, Arthur Martinez (Lisa); her grandchildren, Aaron Martinez, Olivia Martinez, Andrew Martinez, and Larissa Martinez-Zarazua (Jovahne); and her great-grandchildren, Zoella Martinez-Swebke and Issabel Martinez-Zarazua. She is also survived by her siblings, Bill Casaus (Lucille), Gloria Landreth (Bryant), Andrew Casaus, Teresa Garcia, Ernesto Casaus, and Clyde Vanosdol, along with numerous extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory. 

Helen’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be remembered for the love she shared, the friendships she cherished, and the moments of music, dancing, and laughter that brought her joy.
