Helen Irene Davis was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on July 29, 1936 and passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023. Helen worked for The Los Alamos National Labs, and moved with her husband Marion to Albuquerque following her retirement in 1990. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, camping, planning family events, all animals especially her Sheltie dogs, arts and crafts, adding to her many collectibles, and spending time with family.

Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Marion Davis; her parents, Louis and Cledia Tartaglia; her sister, Betty Ayres; and her son-in-law, Dan Kew. She is survived by her sister Luanne Case and husband Leonard; brother James Wright and wife Karolee; daughters Kimberly Kew, Pamela Dibenedetti and husband Frank, Melanie Virden and husband Russell; six grandchildren, Jerrod Kew and wife Sara, Ashley Kew, Anthony DiBenedetti and wife Kathryn, Kaitlyn Orsburn, Dan Virden and wife Brittney, Zachary Virden and wife Shelby; seven great-grandchildren, Drake Kew, Milee Kew, Tyler Orsburn, Gavin Blankenship, Kendall Virden, Kodi Virden and Cooper DiBenedetti.

Services will be held at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 11:00 am with entombment to follow. In lieu of flowers, per the family's wishes, donations may be made to the Animal Humane Society, 615 Virginia St. SE Albuquerque, NM 87108.

Pallbearers will include her grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
