Gloria Maria Esquibel was peaceful called home on Friday, January 20th 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 8th 1950 in Mosquero, New Mexico.

She married Joe Esquibel on February 19th 1967 and will be remembered as an amazing loving compassionate wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and most of all a friend to many.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Gaspar and Andrillita Vigil; her sister, Mary Montoya; her son, Henry Lee Robert; grandchildren, Tino Silva, Newt and Ethan Esquibel.

She leaves behind her daddy (husband Joe) of 55 years; brother, Cele Vigil and long life partner Lucy; her loving children, Julian Esquibel of Albuquerque, NM, Joey (Daniel) and wife Esperanza Esquibel of Littlefield, TX, Johnny (Juan) Esquibel of Dalhart, TX; daughters, Mega Gonzales of Socorro, NM; Georgette Esquibel and partner Will of Albuquerque, NM; her pride and joy-five loving grandchildren and her fifteen great grandchildren. She will also be remembered and celebrated by many great nieces and nephews and by many kids from Roy and surrounding areas who called her mamma G or Mamma Gloria. She will leave a very big void in all of our lives and we will greatly miss her.

A rosary followed by mass and burial will be held on Saturday, February 4 ^th , 2023 beginning at 11:30 am at St Joseph's Catholic Church in Mosquero, New Mexico.
