George E. Salazar, 84, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away at his home on Friday, January 31, 2025.

George was born March 7th, 1940, in Las Vegas, New Mexico, to Filadelfio and Antonia Salazar.

Upon graduating from Robertson High School in Las Vegas, New Mexico, he entered the United States Marine Corp. Following his military service and Honorable Discharge, George worked as a police officer, trucker, but is most remembered as a photographer. He is known for shooting thousands of weddings and First Holy Communions all over New Mexico. As well, he enjoyed New Mexico history, poetry and art.

George is survived by his wife, Veronica Salazar, his sons, nephews, nieces, and grandchildren.
