Frank F. Valverde our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 20, 2024. He was born in Ponderosa, New Mexico June 21, 1941 to Rose Valverde and spent most of his early years in Ponderosa and then moved to Albuquerque at the age of 16. Frank was the owner of three successful businesses, Ace Pumping, Ace Trucking and Frank's Auto Salvage, all in the South Valley, until his health forced him to retire at age 73. He valued hard work, a good joke and loved his professional wrestling shows and western movies. Frank also loved fishing, hunting and camping and loved traveling with his beloved wife, Nancy, especially to Las Vegas and Laughlin Nevada, where he always won at the casino's.
Frank was preceded in death by his mother, Rose; brothers, David and Ray; sisters, Florence Ayala and Felia Gwaltney;  sons, Frankie and Ronnie; grandson, Jesse and by his great granddaughter, Takya Sanchez.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Nancy Valverde; sons, Freddie (Suzette), Rodney (Monica), and Dennis (Connie); daughter, Deborah Smithson (John); 2 sisters Dolores Trujillo and Helen Valerio; 22 loving grandchildren; 29 loving great grandchildren; as well as other family members and friends who loved and will miss him.

Services will be held at Legacy Church, 4701 Wyoming Blvd NE. on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 with a public viewing from 9:00 - 9:45 am. The service will begin at 10:00 am with interment following at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd NE 87107. A reception for family and friends will follow the interment, at Legacy Church 4701 Wyoming Blvd NE.
