Felix S
Gutierrez Sr
Sep 3, 1954 — Jan 29, 2022
Tijeras
Felix S. Gutierrez Sr. was born September 3, 1954. Our hearts are broken and we are sad to announce, he has passed on to his heavenly home on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the age of 67.
He was a lifelong resident of Tijeras and will forever be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and treasured friend.
Felix truly loved his family and his dogs. As well, he loved riding his bike and of course his passion was working on cars!
He made everyone laugh and then he made some cry, but he was always a loyal person, there to help those in need, no questions asked.
Felix was greatly loved and will be terribly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Crescenciano and Reyes Gutierrez; son, Felix Gutierrez Jr; grandsons, Isaiah Gutierrez and Felix Gutierrez III; great granddaughter, Jazmin Vigil; son-in-law, Joe Esquibel; brothers, Charo, Daniel, Eugenio, Randy and Crescenciano Jr, who passed away one day after Felix; sisters, Celina, Margaret, Ernestina, Priscilla and Gloria.
Felix is survived by his loving wife, Veronica Gutierrez of Tijeras; daughter, Patricia Gutierrez of Colorado Springs; sons, Alberto Gutierrez and wife Kim of Tijeras and Joseph Gutierrez and fiancé Brianna of Tijeras; grandsons, Santino, Jose, Loysal, Skyler and Julian; granddaughters, Cassandra, Monique and Stefanie; five great grandchildren; brothers, Eddie Gutierrez and wife Judy, Gilbert Gutierrez and wife Susie and Anthony Gutierrez; sisters, Kiki Griego and husband Anthony and Linda Gutierrez; as well as many other family members and friends who loved and will miss him.
A Rosary will be recited at San Antonio Catholic Church, 7 San Antonio Dr., Cedar Crest, NM., on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 11:00 am. Felix will then be laid to rest at the San Antonio Cemetery, with his son JR and with his grandsons, Isaiah and Little Felix.
