In Loving Memory of Faith Darlene Wright

August 29, 1942 - November 24, 2021

Faith Darlene Wright, age 79, passed away in her home in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on Wednesday, November24, 2021, in the care of her family and the Heartland Hospice Care Team, following a battle with cancer. Thankfully, her passing into the loving arms of her savior, Christ Jesus was quick, peaceful and painless.

Darlene Wright (O'Canna) was born on August 29, 1942, to Rudolf and Eva (Gates) O'Canna in Starkville, Colorado. Following a move by the family to Trinidad, Colorado, Darlene attended and completed High School, and subsequently graduated from Trinidad State Junior College with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Nursing. She spent the next forty years working in her profession in numerous medical facilities, both in Colorado and New Mexico. Darlene retired in 2013 from her position as the Allergy Clinic nurse at the University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque.

Darlene is survived by her husband of 34 years, Robert, and four children, Dean Bargas, Deanne Cardillo (Bargas), Damon Wright and Danielle Jaramillo (Wright). She was also blessed to be the grandmother of four grandsons.

In addition to her qualities of caring and compassion as a nurse, Darlene was an exceptional cook and homemaker. She was greatly loved by all who knew her, and she will be missed.
