In Loving Memory of Eugene Michael Reis
February 10, 1945 – October 7, 2021

Eugene Michael Reis, age 76, passed away in Albuquerque, New Mexico on October 7, 2021.
Eugene Reis was born February 10, 1945 to Eugene and Margaret (Bellot) Reis in Lima, Peru. Eugene attended St. Paul's Catholic School, Odell, IL and St. Bede Academy, Peru, IL until he entered the United States Air Force August 14, 1962. He worked on flight simulators and helped train B-52 pilots at Loring Air Force Base near Limestone, ME until the end of his military career August 12, 1966.

At that time Eugene returned to Illinois and attended and graduated from Illinois State University. After moving to Colorado he attended and graduated from the University of Colorado Law School. He had his own CPA practice in Denver, Colorado for several years.

He lived in several states: Illinois, Colorado, Hawaii and New Mexico. While in Hawaii he met and married the love of his life, Sue (Turek) Reis. They married November 5, 2009 until her death from cancer December 19, 2011. Eugene continued to live in Hawaii until he moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico.

He is survived by his sister, Catherine (Reis) McKay.
