Etta Mae Tweedy, 78, of Albuquerque, NM passed away at 2:32pm on Wednesday March 9, 2022 at Presbyterian Rust Medical Center in Rio Rancho, NM. She was born June 9, 1943 in St. Francisville, IL the daughter of Woodrow Briner and Mary Etta (Miley) Briner.

She is survived by one son, Brian (Mandy) Tweedy of Albuquerque, NM; one sister Deb (Jim) Tucker of Riverton, IL; one brother John Briner of St. Francisville, IL; and one precious grandson Cash Tweedy of Albuquerque, NM. Along with aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and a very long list of wonderful friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother Jerry Briner; and one sister Brenda Lee Sechman.

Etta was retired and enjoyed her time at home with her son and grandson. She would frequent baseball games to watch her grandson play. She loved camping outdoors and spending time with friends. She loved country music and seen many concerts over her years. She was a caring woman who spent most of her life thinking about others and was always surrounded by friends and family.

A mother like you is rare, one that's so generous, smart and kind. A mother like you is what everyone needs, full of smiles and laughter, always doing great deeds. Nothing can replace a mother like you, but when you get to heaven, GOD will be lucky to have you too.
