Estella Marie Martinez, 64, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away Monday, July 31, 2023. Estella was predeceased by her daughter, Tomasita, and her father, Joe Pete Jaramillo. She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Steve Martinez; her son, Steve and his wife, Monica; her granddaughter, Natasha; her mother, Tomasita Jaramillo; and Estella's special goddaughter, Corinne McCracken.  Estella is also survived by her siblings: Panchita (Michael King), Jose Jaramillo (Leslie), Estevan Jaramillo (Fronia), Raul Jaramillo (Gail) and Rebecca (Alex Contreras).  She will also be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and lifelong friends.

Estella was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary church and of the SNMDMP#2.

We will be celebrating Estella's life together on Thursday, August 17, 2023. The rosary will begin at 8:00 am, followed by Estella's eulogy, given by her best friend Mae Dotson.  Mass will begin at 9:00 am. These services will be held at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 4th Street, NW, Albuquerque, NM. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 7812-7826 Edith Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM.

The Martinez family would like to thank each and every one of you for your love and support during this time. We have been comforted by so many that love Estella and through her, love us. It's been a remarkable testament to her profound significance in the lives of so many family and friends.
