Ernest Anthony Gallegos, born in 1959 in Alamosa, Colorado, passed away on June 10, 2026. He was a thoughtful dad, proud grandpa, loving brother, and uncle whose presence touched many lives.

Though he struggled, he was deeply loved. His family saw the goodness in him, the tenderness, the humor, and the moments of grace that revealed his true heart. They now trust him to God's compassion, believing in forgiveness, healing, and eternal rest.

He is preceded in death by his father, Rudy, and his sister Julie.

He is survived by his mom, Theresa Gallegos; brother, James Gallegos; and sisters Wanda Casias and husband Jessie, Joann Angel and husband John; daughter Arlene Gallegos and granddaughter Nakayla, along with nieces and nephews, who will carry his memory with love and hope, take comfort in the promise of reunion and knowing he is finally at peace.

A rosary and funeral mass will be held at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary on time to be announced, with burial to follow at the cemetery. The family invites all who knew him to join in prayer and remembrance.
