Emmanuel Harry Caralivanos, "Manny", ETCS, US Navy Retired, was born April 7, 1931 in Manhattan, New York. He passed away Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the age of 92.

Manny honorably served his country in the US Navy for over 30-years, active duty. His first ship was the USS Iowa; he loved the Iowa. Many loved and adored his pets and he will be remembered as a fun-loving person and a life-long military man, dedicated to his country and his military career.

Manny was preceded in death by his father, Emmanuel Haralumbos Caralivanos of Cypress and by his mother, Maria Celione Caralivanos of Spain;  brother-in-law, Louis Rozakis of Bronx, NY and sister, Thea Caralivanos Harkins of Sayville, NY.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25  years, Diane M Caralivanos of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; his children, Aileen Caralivanos Vietri and husband Dean of Wilmington, DE, Patricia Caralivanos Dooling and husband Scott of Newark, DE, James A. Caralivanos and wife Leyla of Virginia Beach, VA, Emmanuel H. Caralivanos, Jr. of Sarasota, FL and David A. Caralivanos of Shawboro, NC; sister Leona Caralivanos Rozakis of Bronx, NY; seven grandchildren, Dean and Michael Vietri, Anthony Capriotti, Kyle and Abby Dooling, Michael Caralivanos and Lexi Caralivanos; 2 great-grandchildren, Nohlan and Riley Vietri; also many loving nieces and nephews; other family members and friends who loved and will miss him.

A graveside service will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at 1:30 pm with full US Military Honors.
