Edwina C. Lopez- It is in deep sorrow that we announce the death of our mom Edwina C. Lopez, who died peacefully at home at the age of 81. She joined her husband of 52 years Salamon V. Lopez Jr on September 12th, 2021.

Edwina is survived by her sons, Eddie and wife Jenny, Steve and wife Grace, and Rudy;  daughter, Yvonne and her husband Ted; 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, and her dog Coco. She is also remembered by her sisters, Dolores Lopez, Josie and husband Joe Nieto, and many nieces and nephews; as well as other family members and friends who loved and will miss her.

We all loved her cooking her famous tortillas, tamales, and biscochitos, crocheting us blankets, and watching her western shows, Shane, High Chaparral, and also her game shows like Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, and Family Feud. She loved her rose garden, baby's breath, reading her books and going to the casino. Thank you to all her friends and family who came to visit her, she is going to be missed dearly.

Services will be held on Friday, October 22nd, 2021 at 1:30pm at Santa Fe Veterans Memorial, 501 North Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, 87501.
